Why Attendance Matters in District 60

At D60, it is our collective responsibility as leaders, educators, families and community members to ensure that our students not only succeed, but thrive, developing the skills and dispositions to lead lives of purpose and impact.

The 2024-2025 D60 Board of Education

As January is School Board Appreciation Month, Superintendent Dr. Barbara Kimzey recognized the efforts and dedication of the D60 Board of Education during January's regular board meeting.

Launched in November, the program has seen Irving scholars utilize materials such as cardboard, markers, popsicle sticks, straws, Legos and other items in fun and educational endeavors designed to spur imagination and creativity.

The School Choice Lottery Window for the 2025-26 school year opens at 8 a.m. Monday, January 13, giving families the best chance of winning a seat for their children in a preferred District school.

The Pueblo Summer Musical – the product of a long-standing partnership between District 60 and Pueblo Parks and Recreation – returns to the Sangre de Cristo Arts & Conference Center Saturday and Sunday (2 p.m.) and continuing July 15-18 (7 p.m.)
