In Kindergarten, students begin their journey as readers and writers. They learn to recognize letter names and sounds from A to Z, practice blending and segmenting sounds to read simple words, and express themselves through writing. In math, they focus on recognizing numbers 1-100, developing basic mathematical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Students engage in small group lessons for reading and intervention centers for math. Creative playtime helps build a sense of community and develop social skills, while learning to problem-solve and cooperate with others.
